Day 5

Hola Springfield!! We hear it's ice and snow there?? We won't talk about the weather here! heehee Today we saw 74 patients in the half day clinic. Busy, busy, busy....we had them lined up outside waiting for us again. This afternoon we had a party with the orphans that live at Casa Angelina. They sang for us and then Ivan Tait told some of the stories of the abuse certain children suffered prior to coming to live at Casa Angelina. There were alot of tears once again! They presented the widow that they have been building a house for this week--you can see her in the pictures--and they stated they were looking for $100/mos. for living expenses. Bo walked forward and said "Here's the first month" and gave her $100. I have seen him cry and now this?!?!?! WOW!! Just kidding Bo! I forgot to add that yesterday at Mamma Carmen's we each donated cash of our own and gave her $360. She said we were Angels and she hopes God blesses us well. To end the night, the orphanage administrator's 3 year old ran into a wall and lacerated his forehead and we patched him up at the hotel on our kitchen counter. Thank goodness for Indermil!!
